Paper Planes is the new hit band from Camden, London.
The 3 piece Indie/Rock band formely formed in 2011 after playing small gigs at bars and being 'spotted' by a record producer.
The band consists of 3 friends from Camden who all studied music and art at University.
The band members are, Tom Harrow (Guitar and vocals) Jerry Thomas(Bass) and Mark Hatman (guitar), the band has no drummer, they use session drummers for gigs and tours.
The band are currently under the label, Lightbulb, a relativley small label specialising in Rock and Indie music, so was a perfect offer for the band.
Their first single, 'We Were Children' went on sail last month and has a continuous growing popularity, the band have been working on it since their discovery last year, it was written by all members of the band who said "it is important it is a team effort, if one of us doesnt like something about it, its out, thats how we write and always will".
As the band have been growing in popularity over the last year rumours have been circulating of a tour and possible performances at Festivals like Reading in summer this year.
"We hope to release our second single later this year" said Tom Harrow, "the success in the last year has really been worth all the time and work put in by all of us" the band said at an interview on Radio 1 earlier this month.
